Geez!......That's a bummer!!! ....It's not like there's that many people posting pics!! .....So, in order to post pics, you have to delete some of your own pics! .......Go figure!

Oops! That one was my bad. The avatars folder on the server was read-only to the web server, so you couldn't make changes. It's fixed now and should work fine.  |

I'll look into this one. It doesn't seem likely that the forum would "attack" your computer. More likely there's some spyware or something that's making it look that way here.
Either way I'm gonna see if I can scan the site with a virus scanner. It's possible that one of these .jpg or .gif files is "special". I guess that could be a problem with allowing uploads. |

good advice ajoge,firefox doesnt let any viruses and junk in.
Ive been using it since jarvis recomended it. The only problems I had were do to my browser security setting's. |

I'll talk to Cam about the possibility of increasing the quota, but that's no promise. This Internet thing isn't actually free you know. Perhaps there's a way to give higher quotas for higher ranks. |

All right. I've combed over the forums and read all the posts in this thread. I've fixed all the problems that I can confirm, and I'm working on setting up a virus scanner (no, it's not running on a windows server, but I can scan for windows viruses anyway).
I hope this helps, 'cause like Cam says we can't spend too much more trying to fix it.

PS: 9 out of 10 on the geek-o-meter? C'mon Cam, you need a larger scale... or maybe some decimals, I'm at least 9.3. |

Looks like we can't bind quotas to ranks, but they can be manually set, so that could be used as a reward for good behavior or something. |

AJorg, like everyone else, I want to thank you for the time and expertise in helping Cam get things together here. You've done a superb job!
About those hijack (Helkern) attacks I get here occasionally... my AV keeps a record of the web addys where they come from. If you think it would be any help, let me know and I'll PM you a copy. Might help track down whoever's responsible..

Well, I think AJorg scared the faerie outa here and sent her over to SGs forum where she's merrily raising hell.. LOL 
They're still down over there, but Magnum says they're working on it and should be back up in a day or so. Just the usual glitches everyone runs into when setting up a new site. (But that faerie sure ain't helping things..) LOL
