First off let me say, Cam you rock once again! Your review of the knife was dead on, this is an AMAZING budget knife. It was sitting in my mailbox for a few hours (its about 20 deg outside), so it was a little hesitant to open. However once it heated up this knife was amazing - in fact, I think this may be my favorite knife yet - yes, even better than my Boker Magnum.
The blade on the knife is not very sharp, but the serrations sure are! Thanks for the look out magnum. The knife is coated with a beautiful shiney black coating - I don't knwo what it is, but it is reflective and pearl-like. Seems durable. The wood is also BEAUTIFUL, much better than you would expect from a $18 knife. The safety is excellent, and the design seems more reliable than the safety on my Magnum. The best part of all however is the action - which is as smooth as silk, and it is as quiet as a whisper. The button is steardy, and there is NO blade play at all right now.
Maybe I need to play with this knife a little more to write a full review, but for now I can safely say this is an amazing knife I am glad I bought. I think it looks much better in my hand than on the website, and it fits the contours of my hand perfectly. Honestly for the price I don't think you can go wrong.

DENIED! I went and checked out the Shadow Dancer. Out of stock.(how do I miss these?)
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks alot like the "Jaguar" series or the Razorback that I bought. My Razorback is a great knife, could be a little faster(but sorry, not "better" than my Bokers). I've been plotting to get a few of those knives, if it is same as the Razorback with a black blade it has to be on the list. _________________ WHAT WE DO IN LIFE, ECHO'S IN ETERNITY! |

Magnum, I like that we see eye to eye on the bokers. But as soon as I get my magnum mini's the Boker prices jump up a bit. I'll still be grabbing a couple more( Okay, at least one each) But, I'll be looking for a few more in that twenty dollar range. And considering I'll need to have more than just the flat black tactical styled auto's for diversity. And just out of sheer curiosity is it the style or the function that throws you off of the Jaguars and it's cousins? _________________ WHAT WE DO IN LIFE, ECHO'S IN ETERNITY! |

Anthony-Don't get me wrong i have some of the jaguar line and i really like them it's just this one i don't.The style is okay but the function is what I don't like. The one's a played with at the G&K show last month were very weak to me so that automatically turned me off.

Magnum, I can respect that. I wonder then if it's a batch thing? Cyrus seems very pleased with his Shadow dancer

while the Razorback I have is a little slow.
Oh well? For now, until I get a better idea of the consistancy, there's still a couple of the Bokers and still's to to keep me busy. _________________ WHAT WE DO IN LIFE, ECHO'S IN ETERNITY! |

anthony-It probably was a batch thing but the bokers are hard to beat for the money!

Teflon or Paint it's been my experience. It all wears off eventually! But It's still Tactical for a while! _________________ WHAT WE DO IN LIFE, ECHO'S IN ETERNITY! |
