just took my Gatco Tri Seps to the sharpened side & she's
a razor Exclamation Twisted Evil OBTW - for the un-initiated, here's how
to get a free sample of Militec lube & grease

militec@militec-1.com

ATTN : Brad Giordani, good stuff. And while yer at it, visit their
website :

i only have two otf's. a tomb raider and a nato, of the two the tomb raider is of better quality. both have alot of blade wobbel and the nato is very sharp as the toumb raider is very dull. either way they are not ment for serious cutting but they are alot of fun!

Halo III clone -- Single action. Nice hard snap. Blade dull as a spoon. Quite a bit of bladeplay. CEO says he took his apart and did a procedure that stopped a lot of the bladeplay.

NATO -- D/A. Really loose blade. Pretty sharp. Nice easy action on mine. Lots of fun. I wouldn't use it for anything.

Concord -- D/A. Really loose blade. Not too sharp. Kinda boring. Wouldn't use it for anything.

LeSuperoto -- D/A. Plastic case. Made in France. Big knife. Really cool, sharp swedge blade. Little locking tab that eliminates bladeplay when the blade is out. Wouldn't stand hard use due to the plastic case, especially if there's a chance you would drop it.

I have 3 OTFs.

Tomb Raider: the button just cracked and broke off.

Lightning: seems solid; decent clone.

Cupid: Also solid; seems like it will last.

thanks for the link BD...interesting place Laughing

i believe ya bout the ATKO on bladeplay, i just couldnt find it, thought i was going crazy...hehe

ive read somewhere that the cupids spring system is very strong, and doesnt stop if interrupted in its travel. just keeps pushin...unlike a typical nato design. any truth to this. also, how are the edges on the cupid?

VikingBlade -

In a conversation I had about a year ago with Beau ( Gales ) of
Admiral's, Beau related, as we're starting to see with most all the
"clones" is that the quality is the same. I understand the Cupid
open's with a loud, audible snap ( usually associated
with a strong spring mechanism ) Beau related they can "punch a hole
in a paper bag" which a NATO mil can't.

That's also why Cam & Beau sell'em for $36+

I recommend you get the Cupid - Cam sold out last month when I
made my first order & I "missed the boat" - so I got the AKTO clone
in black instead.

Edges on early China made knives left alot to be desired, now they're
"right up there" in the "scary sharp" category Exclamation Shocked

Viking blade- I have to agree with the quality of the cupid clone.
Everywhere that I've seen them including B.P. advrtises them as the best otf clone going.
